Okay, I realize I'm giving you all fives, but seriously, that's how I truly feel about this page. First off, I really love the technique you use, nice job with the ink outlining and colored pencil shading! You really bring out vibrant colors and striking detail with it. It must take you forever to make one of these pages.

The rest of this critique (hope you don't mind) is on the writing and storytelling. The biggest reason I'm giving this all fives. I mean seriously Arven, you're always keeping us on our toes with sudden left hand curves and plot twists. I mean, I was actually expecting Hielo to lash out and try to kill Kuma for what happened given his PTSD driven personality, but instead... BAM! Sudden plot twist! I seriously did not see Omen's venom affecting Kuma more than it already had. This can only leave me wondering if he's going to become more like Omen or if its poison slowly flowing through his bloodstream killing him. Though I'm also wondering if you have something else in store given your extremely creative approach at story telling and writing, plus the fact Kuma was bitten by Omen on his front leg rather than his rear one, which would put a dent in the slowly dying of poison theory.

So basically, that's a clear five for originality, not to mention you clearly had a vision as to where you wanted to take the story plus the detailed illustration I'm seeing before me. A lot of serious thought and pre-planning went into this. Impact? Oh boy did it impact me! I pretty much already explained that too with how much the revelation of Kuma's physical status surprised me and caught me off guard. Not to mention, I'm literally sitting here anxious worried about Kuma and wondering what's going to happen to him. I sincerely hope Motyl didn't lose Anahata if Kuma is truly suffering from the effects of a possibly fatal venom bite. The last thing I want to see is the Chakra Heroes lose a member with a true Chakra power. Especially the member who's basically keeping the sword stored safely somewhere inside him.
