So, Paa still obviously doesn't trust Africa as much as his mother does, and he is startled to see that she stalked around them and was preparing a play-ambush. But of course, Nadira knows her well and confidently scouts her out

By the way, YES, Nadira is slowly losing her eyesight as she grows old.. It doesn't happen to all gazelles of course, but their sight isn't that great to begin with, so I thought it could be an interesting touch for her to gradually lose her eyes. What do you think?
