Africa!

A silent page. I really wanted to emphasize the similarities between Nadira and Africa's situations here.
Both their lives have been influenced and turned upside down by Chui, and now both fear for the future of their children.
Most importantly, their relationship seems to have come to a definitive end, as Africa finally walks away from her territory and out into unexplored land.

Drawing the baobab in the last panel was a good challenge!

Enjoy!

This page is extremely well made and even without dialogue it conveys a strong message. I love the use of the fog and the rain to show that things are changing and nothing will be the same, and the uncertainty of the future.

I love the comparison between Nadira and Africa in the 3rd and 4th panels, and the fact that she's watching Africa and her cubs leave the territory.

The coloring is amazing, like always, and the use of the duller colors really brings everything together. However, the cub's face in the 4th panel seems a little wonky. The right side of his face seems too far in for the size of the eyes, and it looks like his face is looking to the right while his eyes are positioned like his head is facing forward.

The Baobab in the last panel is amazing. I just love how it dwarfs everything else, in both size and majesty. The fog around the base makes it seem like it's more of a mirage, in a sense. It looks like a good thing, but once you get closer, it's not.

All in all, it's an A+ page
